On Thursday, October 19 from 9am-2pm, Oak Hill staff will join our neighbors at the Mt. Zion and Female Union Band Society cemeteries for a Day of Service.
Please join us for a few hours of enjoyable camaraderie and service at the burials grounds, located just behind the intersection of 27th St and Q St NW. Volunteer activities may include cleaning up debris from Mother Nature and other visitors, weeding, clipping of vines, clearing forest brush, and tending to the historic cemetery vault.
This is a unique opportunity to give time and sweat equity to our neighbors at Mt. Zion/FUBS, and we are honored to welcome any volunteer who would like to join us in this important work.
